| AJKLTF delegation attends National Teachers' Federation meet | | |

JAMMU, July 13: A delegation of All Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) attended national executive meeting of All India National Teachers' Federation (AINTF) at Shimla.
The delegation comprised Bhushan S Verma (President), Maheshwar Parsad (Convenor), Pawan Kumar and Shashi Pal (senior members).
The various points regarding education system in India were discussed in the meeting in which representative of 23 States and 10 reputed universities participated. The adhoc president of AJKLTF Bhushan S Verma informed about the achievements of the meeting including right to education bill 2009 be implemented throughout the country, sex education in schools shall not be introduced at any cost, fake universities be closed at once, affiliation of three universities organization of Jammu also discussed. The AJKLTF federation requested State Government to frame a firm and transparent transfer policy be implemented as per the norms of Himachal Pradesh Government. Moreover, election of two zones Reasi and Madheen (Hiranagar) was also held and zonal bodies were framed. Sharma (Teacher) has been elected as President Zone Reasi and Rakesh Kumar (Teacher) as president Zone Madheen.
