EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 13: Jammu Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) today organised a function to formally announce the state football team, which is scheduled to take part in All India Santosh Trophy Football Tournament. The association announced a team of twenty members and three officials to take part in the tournament to be held in Kolkatta this month. The team will be led by Kamaljeet while others who have been selected to be part of the squad include Wasim Feroz, Vikramjeet, Imran Rafiq, Asif Majeed, Shanawaz, Romesh Verma, Tavfeeq Ahmed, Sameer Hussain, Rizwan Shafi, Rohit Kumar, Wasim Yousuf, Mansoor Ahmed, Khalid Qayoom, Azhar Ali, Imran Wangoo, Zameer-ul-Hassan, Vinay Kumar, Aman Thapa and Ujawar. Abdul Majeed Kakroo- Coach, Manager Farooq Shaheen-Manager and Dr Ashiq Hussain-Physio will also accompany the team. Jammu Kashmir, Rajsthan and Manipur are in the same pool and will play against each other. The function, which held under the chairmanship of JKFA President Jameel Thakur at GGM Science College Jammu, was also attended by Dr Nirmolak Singh-Vice President JKFA, Narinder Gupta-Member JKFA, Mohan Lal-Selector, David Masih-Selector and Rajesh Kumar.
