| BJP Kissan Morcha chief tours Samba district | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 13: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kissan Morcha State President Karan Singh undertook liaison visit of Samba district in order to take stock of the activities of Kissan Morcha as also issues related to the farmers.
Karan Singh, while interacting with the local office bearers of the morcha, stressed on early constitution of Kissan Morcha committees at the block levels so that the morcha have good working as well as link to the lowest level with the farmers.
The committee members of Samba district projected few points for needful action and the president assured the committee members that all necessary steps will be taken to sort out their problems.
Karan Singh was also told that Receiving station of electricity established in villages Rehian and Raipur are not functioning properly due to which the people do not get proper electricity supply for farming purpose thus affecting adversely on overall growth of the farmers. It was also pointed out that the canals in the area do not have proper water level/quality of water which is also affecting farmers as they are not getting water for their crops.
Other morcha office bearers who accompanied Karan Singh include Rashpal Verma, vice-president Capt (Retd) Kasturi Lal Sharma, General Secretary and Jagdish Pandey, Treasurer. |
