Congress-NC conflict surfaced in all-party meet: Bhim
7/13/2010 11:03:56 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 13: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, J&K National Panthers Party today urged Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh to act boldly and urgently vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir Govt. so that the innocent Kashmiries could be rescued from authoritarian, corrupt and undemocratic rule. Describing the so-called 12-Party Meeting in Srinagar as a bluff, Bhim said that six of the so-called recognized parties have either no recognition or any presence in the Legislature.
Prof. Bhim Singh said that so-called resolution asking to carry forward the dialogue with Pakistan vis-à-vis Jammu and Kashmir was like a 'tail' wagging an elephant. The meeting failed to touch the core issue concerning the cause of unrest in the Valley and the reason why children were throwing stone on the reckless leaders. The resolution didn't approve the judicial inquiry by a sitting Judge of the High Court to find out the cause of unrest and stone-throwing by the young Kashmiries.
Prof. Bhim Singh expressed shock the way BJP stood to oppose a judicial inquiry into the killing of innocent people during past four weeks.
Prof. Bhim Singh said that absence of Deputy Chief Minister (Congress) who is the confident of the Union Health Minister (Congress dissidents) should work as eye-opener both for the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh ji and Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, the Congress President. It is the time, the Panthers Party Supremo said that the Congress withdraws support to Omar Abdullah in case he insisted to continue without support. Any delay in this process shall prove a disaster to the national interest as well as to the security of the state.
Prof. Bhim Singh rejected Chief Minister's resolution that All Party delegation shall call on the Prime Minister saying that Panthers Party was capable to call on the Prime Minister by itself and there was no reason of Panthers Party joining any so-called non-existent All Party delegation. He said that no such gimmick should be entertained by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister may convene a meeting of the representatives of the genuine and legitimate political parties if he desires so but Governor Rule should not be delayed any more.
