Jammu, July13: Organized an educative seminar on the backdrop of the day and approsed the Kashmiri pandits especially the younger generation about the atrocities unflieted upon the minorities by the Kashmiri Muslims on this day in July 1931. He said the trouble started due to inflammatory speeches of one non-Kashmiri Abdul Qadir which he made in various mosques of Srinagar after nimaz. On the occasion Lila Karan Sharma, Prof M.L Kaul, Dr. R.L.Bhat, Shiban Khabri, T.N. Razdan and B.L Bhat spoke at length about the actual happenings of July 13, 1931. |
