Darakhshan demands imposition of Governor's rule in J&K | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 13: After completing a three day consultation programme with national leadership at New Delhi regarding the prevailing condition in the state, especially in the valley of Kashmir, Socialistic Democratic Party supremo Dr Darakhshan Andrabi returned to the state and addressed the SDP State Executive Convention held at Jammu this afternoon. Dr Andrabi said that she appraised national leadership of chaotic law and order situation in valley and the failure of Omar Abdullah-led coalition government in controlling the situation gone from bad to worse with each passing day throughout the valley. She said that in such a situation, the present government has no right to continue in office and Omar Abdullah should accept the fact that he is too immature to rule this troubled state. She repeated her demand to impose Governor's rule in the state without any delay as the government was completely unconcerned about the out-of-control situation in valley. She said that Kashmir is shut down for a month now and her leaders like Omar Abdullah are enjoying the luxurious life. She said the chief minister was inconsistent in his statements giving an impression that he was not capable of holding the high post. Dr Andrabi also criticized Mehbooba Mufti for her opportunistic and criminal political approach. She is always instrumental in sentimentalizing sensitive issues and inspiring youth for being killed and then at the same time she raises hue and cry about state repression. Dr Andrabi said that irresponsible politicians like Omar and Mehbooba have made the life of the people a hell. While reacting to the multi-party meeting convened by Chief Minister yesterday at Srinagar, Dr Andrabi said that this was just a futile exercise with no concrete outcome. Dr Andrabi said that unfortunately we were witnessing the dirtiest of political behaviors any modern society can come across. |
