| Jammu kids get Bharat Scouts and Guide Rashtrapati Award | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 16: Two members of Bharat Scouts & Guide hailing from Jammu were given Bharat Scouts & Guide Rashtrapati Award by President of India, Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, in a function held at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Kanika Chouhan and Anmol Masoom, both residents of Jammu city, achieved this distinction after passing a number of tests conducted at National level. Kanika Chouhan was also one of the winners of Bharat Scouts & Guide Governor Award, which she received from Governor NN Vohra in the year 2009.
National Conference President and Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Dr Farooq Abdullah also organised a function at his official residence at New Delhi and he congratulated both these students from the state for getting recognition at the hands of the highest authority of the country.
