| District athletics meet starts today | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 16: Organised by the Amateur Athletics Association of Jammu and Kashmir, the two-day Jammu District Athletic Championship shall start tomorrow at MA Stadium, here. The competitions in both track and field events shall be held under the guidance of Sports Council athletics coaches, Sohan Singh, Gurcharan Singh and Shamsh-u-Din. Selection trials To select the state senior athletic team for the forthcoming 50th National Inter-state Senior Athletics Championship to be held at NIS Moti Bath, Patial from August five to August eight, the Amateur Athletics Association of J&K is conducting trials. The two-day trials shall start tomorrow at MA Stadium here.
