| 7000 yatris leave for Amarnath cave from Baltal, Pahalgam | | |

SRINAGAR, July 16: About 7000 pilgrims today left Baltal and Pahalgam base camps for holy Amarnath cave shrine where so far around 2 lakh yatris had darshan of the natural ice-Shivlingam since July 1, when the two-month-long pilgrimage commenced officially.
Official sources informed that about 3300 yatris, including sadhus, women and children left for the holy cave from Baltal base camp to undertake the pilgrimage through this shortest route.
