| Ex-Corporators calls on CE, PDD | | | EARLY TIES REPORT
Jammu, July 16 : A deputation of former Municipal Corporators of capital called on Chief Engineer, (CE) Power Development Department (PDD) at his office and apprise him …… the frequent and un-scheduled power cuts being faced by the residents of various localties in old city.
Deputation emphasized that old transformers be replaced as they cannot bear the load during the pack hours beside to replace worn out electric poles as they have become threat to life and proporties of the residents livening in vicinity. Ex-Corporators on the occasion also draw the attention of Chief Engineer to replace worn out electronic meters to which CE said that the department has floated tenders for new purchase. |
