| Govt seizes powers of dental college supdtt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 16: The government has seized powers of Dr Mohan Singh, superintendent of Indira Gandhi government dental college and hospital here, with immediate effect.
An order to this effect was issued by Dr R K Jerath, principal secretary, health and medical education department.
The order, which bears No 371 HME of 2010, said the drawing and disbursing powers of the superintendent had been withdrawn.
"In suppression of all orders, sanction is hereby accorded to the withdrawing of drawing and disbursing powers from medical superintendent, government dental hospital, Jammu, and delegation of such powers to accounts officer with immediate effect. The medical superintendent shall immediately handover the charge to the accounts officer under an intimation to this department," the order added.
