| PDP flays government's inaction in youth killing case in Anantnag | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 18: Peoples Democratic Party leaders Abdul Rehman Veeri MLA, Rafi Ahmad Mir MLA, and Mansoor Hussain MLA, have condemned the inaction of the government in the case of killing of three innocent youth, Imtiyaz Ahmad Yatoo, Ishfaq Ahmad Khandey and Sajad-ul- Islam at Anchidoora, Anantnag on June 29 at the hands of security forces. In a statement the PDP leaders have said it was a shame that even after having announced strong action within 24 hours by the Chief Minister on June 29, nothing was done to do justice to the tragic happenings... This is in spite of the fact that there is unimpeachable evidence about the murder, and that the boys had been dragged out of their homes and shot at a close range.
Terming the claims of attachment of the involved personnel mere eyewash the leaders said that government should come with constructive and proper action against the culprits. |
