| President awarded silver elephant award to Nasreen | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 17: A silver elephant award was awarded by president of India, Pratibha Devi Singh Patil to state commissioner (G) Bharat scouts and guides J&K to Nasreen Khan at Rashtrapathi Bhawan on July 17, 2010.
The award has been awarded in re-cognition of her services in serving the movement in various capacities. She developed special areas of interest to take care of special and handicapped children and also for female upliftment.
Nasreen Khan took voluntary retirement from govt. jobs for serving the movement which she did with determination, selflessness, courage and honesty. The release added.
