| Youth drowns in nallah | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 18: A youth drowned in a 'Nallah' while he was taking bath in village Shiva Dabar near Pull Doda this afternoon.
According to sources, the deceased identified as Imamuddin Malik son of Roshan Din Malik of village Shiva Dabar near Pul Doda was bathing in the nallah along with his uncle Mohammad Iqbal (45) drowned as he was caught in flash floods.
The youth's uncle tried his best to save him but could not succeed.
Report said that police team led by SHO Bhalla Mohinder Pal reached the spot and started rescue operation with the help of local divers of Civil defense but it was too late to save him.
Police handed over the youth's body to the family members after conducting postmortem.
