| One killed, another injured in head on collision | | | early times report
Jammu, July 18: One person died on spot while other is battling for life in GMC hospital after duo met with an accident in Domana area on Jammu-Akhnoor road today.
The accident occurred in the evening when a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AN/6239 which was on way to Jammu collided with an auto rikshaw bearing registration number JK02AK/ 2105.The auto rikshaw was going to Akhnoor. In the accident a motorcyclist identified as Sohan Singh alias Sonu son of Bachan Singh resident of Sarore died on spot while a pillion rider identified as Sahil Singh son of Bachan Singh resident of Sarore was rushed to GMC hospital where his condition is stated to be critical. The body of the deceased after postmortem was handed over to family members.
However, police has registered a case in this connection and seized both the vehicles. Police is also conducting raid to arrest the driver of auto rikshaw.
