JAMMU, July 18: Taking part in the national championships under the banner of All J&K Powerlifting Association, the lifters from the state won as many as 12 medals in Sub-junior, Junior, Senior and Master Deadlift Championship held at Tata Nagar in Jamshedpur.
On their return, these medal winners were felicitated by the Association through Minister for Sports and Technical Education, R S Chib, who was chief guest. The Medal Winners: Pooja Sharma, Aruna Jyoti, Dinesh Mehra, Hardeep Singh, Varun Singh (all gold), Varun Singh, Mamta Sharma, Needhi, Rinku Kumar, Aman Dev (all silver), Sukhwinder Singh, Vikash Sharma and Baljinder Singh (all bronze). |
