| Why Crisis Management Committee? Asks Tarigami | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar July 17: Voicing its dismay over the report appearing in sections of press about the creation of "Crisis Management Committees" at different levels, J&K State Committee CPI (M) has urged upon the government to clarify its stand on the issue.
In a statement issued here today, the party has termed such step as unwarranted and uncalled for. "What is the logic behind it? It is bound to send a wrong message and create further disillusionment among the people" the statement said.
The State Secretary CPI (M), Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has asked the government to clarify the ambiguously that surrounds the necessity of taking this step.
He demanded revoking of such order emphasizing that the government should instead initiate reconciliatory measures to provide relief to the suffering people. |
