| Maintain cultural harmony, make habit of green living: Madan to people | | | early times report
JAMMU July 18: Mandli Mitran Di on Sunday organized one-day symposia on Cultural harmony and Green living in Jammu club under the patronship of Madan Lal Sharma, Member Parliament, Jammu-Pooch Constituency. The programme was also attended by the member of the other associations/organizations of Jammu region.
There were around 300 participants, the programme started with a ceremonial plantation wherein ornamental and medicinal plants were planted by the Chief Guest, dignitaries and others. Madan Lal Sharma, while interacting with the members emphasized for organizing various programmes of plantation in schools, hospitals, road sides etc, to create educational awareness among the people for creating a green culture as it is need of the hour. While addressing the participants, he emphatically told that maintain the cultural harmony and to make a habit of green living is really essential and can serve a long way to solve the various problems of the society not only that it
Will also make the life colorful, happy and free from miseries and tensions. The other speakers namely talked about the rich and varied culture of our region and other part of the country. The speakers eulogize the efforts made by the organizer of the Mandli for organizing such a programme and also praised the press, media for their participation. While welcoming the members, M.J Sharma, IFS, Coordinator of the Organization briefly explained purpose and motive of the workshop. He thanked Surya Products and other associations/organization for extending helping hand.
