| Soz meets PM | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 19: The president state Congress Committee and MP, Prof Saif-u-Din Soz called on the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh at his official residence and apprised him of present situations state was currently confronted. As per statement, the matter that came up for discussion included strengthening of institutions oriented to socio-economic development to ensure more credible governance, pro-active response to requirements of securing concerns and rights of the citizens restricting of J&K Police and its modernization; need to strengthen the peace process through dialogue at various levels. Prime Minister expressed his concern over the recent developments and hoped that things will soon restore to normalcy and all issues would be sort out thorough discussion
