| NSF flays JU authorities | | | early times report
JAMMU, July 19: The activists of National Secular Forum (NSF) on Monday, staged demonstration and a mass rally protest in Jammu University against the Works Department (WD), University of Jammu (JU). The rally protest was started from the Fountain Plaza and concluded in the office of Executive Engineer .The activists raised slogans against the Executive Engineer Suresh Sharma.
Large number of students from different department participated in the protest rally led by Mohd Maqeem Ansari, University president NSF, Addressing the Rally Mohd Maqeem Ansari, has taken a strong note of Executive Engineer Suresh Sharma who has failed on all fronts, resulting in shortage of drinking water and electricity in whole campus.
HE said that we are facing frequent power cut through out the days but it is unbearable in these days. As the campus continue to reel under severe power crises marked with frequent long and unscheduled curtailment.
He expressed surprise over the functioning of the department as crores and crores of rupees have been allegedly shown spent under only on papers but nothing on ground exists as no maintenance was being carried out.
Among those who were attended the protest rally included Surjit Chowdhary, Randeep Singh Chib, Kamaldeep Singh, Sunny Babber, Rohit Sharma, Sandeep Singh and Sunny.
