7/19/2010 9:53:58 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 19: Describing Foreign Ministers' level Indo-Pak talks as a failure, the chairman, SOS International, alleged that the Indian government deliberately ignored the core issue of Pak occupied Kashmir, which is the bone of contention between the two countries and due to weak representation, Pakistan Foreign Minister had insulted the entire country.
Addressing media persons here today, he said that Indian Foreign Minister, SM Krishna has not uttered a single word related to the vacation of Pak occupied Kashmir, which is illegally occupied by Pakistan.
He said that the Indian Parliament has unanimously passed a resolution for the vacation of Pak occupied Kashmir but the Foreign Minister and Indian government had forgotten the actual mandate of the people adding that the Indian government had categorically denied granting the status of Refugee to displaced people from PoK on the plea that the Indian government would get the area vacated from the illegal possession of Pakistan and restored the same to them but the nation failed to understand that why not Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna uttered a single word related to vacation of PoK territory. Rajiv also slammed the entire opposition, which is busy in getting media hype to project themselves on the frivolous issues but the issue of PoK, which is in the greater interest of the Nation had been dejected by them too. He also said that lack of firm representation and double speak of India government had insulted the Nationalist forces and put the future of PoK refugees in shadow. SOS leader further said that Indian government should clear its stand over the resolution passed in parliament, so that an uprooted lot from PoK in tribal invasion of 1947 should get some respite. Launching a scathing attack on the state government for its insensitivity to the genuine problems of gross-root people and corrupt practices, he said that, only corruption is ruling the State and every where is anarchy and no one is there to listen to the people's woes. He said, "If fresh survey, over corruption may be conducted by any independent agency then it will emerge that the J&K State has left far behind the Bihar State, which was branded as number one corrupt State in the Country, earlier by the Transparency International." Demanding the attention of the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, he said that government had defunct the State Accountability Commission in a systematic manner so that there should be no powered agency, which can catch the big fishes including ministers.
Mentioning about the State Vigilance Department, he said that several times people had approached the officers of Vigilance but no response was given to a complaint
