| BJP ridicules CM's statement | | | early times report
JAMMU, July 19: The State BJP has ridiculed the statement of the Chief Minister that the current turmoil in the valley was because of the unemployment amongst the youth and certain foreign elements were also exploiting them .
BJP state general secretary Sat Sharma (C.A) said in Kashmir, the real problem was fundamentalism coupled with dubious functioning of the leaders of certain political parties, which instead of firmly dealing with the subversives, are indulging in blame game against the forces.
Sharma said that the unemployment was far bigger in Jammu areas and also in Ladakh even but there was no such problem and no anti-national slogans are being raised and the security forces targeted with stones or misleading charges are leveled against them.
Sharma said Sharma pointed out that as per official figures, out of the about six lakh unemployed youth, over four lakh are in Jammu region itself, but the NC-Congress coalition leaders are not taking note of the unemployment problems of Jammu and Ladakh areas and the focus is being shifted to Kashmir valley to hoodwink the Central Government and cover up their own misdeeds and failures on various fronts.
