Army educational tour for students flagged off | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 19: An educational tour of 23 school children and 2 school teachers from the remote villages along the line of control in Nowshera region of district Rajouri was flagged off by Commander, Tithwal Brigade today. The thirteen days educational tour to Jaipur, Mount Abu and Udaipur is being organised by Tithwal Brigade under the aegis of Ace of Spade Division. The educational tour aims to instil a sense of awareness and national integration amongst the children and provide them an exposure to the development and way of life in other parts of the country. Selection of the children for the tour has been carried out with an altruistic approach from insurgency affected and remote/under developed areas so as to touch the tender youthful hearts who in the days to come would be the custodians of the culture and heritage of our great nation. The educational tour would visit historical places and other places of interest in and around Jaipur, Mount Abu and Udaipur. The children were extremely enthusiastic and excited about the forthcoming outing, this being their maiden visit outside the state. In his address to the touring children, Commander Tithwal Brigade urged the children to enjoy the trip and share their experiences with fellow classmates on return. He also highlighted the importance of Sadbhavana being under taken by the Army and assured every one that Army would continue with such projects in the future too.
