| Meritorious students felictated | | |

JAMMU, July 19, 2010: Sikh Naujawan Sabha Indira Nagar (Miran Sahib) has felicitated and honoured the meritorious students of the area who have got distinctions in matriculation, higher secondary and B.A. results announced recently. A grand felicitation function was held at Gurudwara Shri Guru Harikrishan Sahib today, where the President of the Sikh Naujawan Sabha Gurjeet Singh (Shonky) was the chief guest. The function was attended by a large number of people from the area. Those felicitated and honoured were Upkar Singh, Gurmeet Kaur, Tanveer kaur, Manpreet kaur, Jagmeet Singh and Gauri. Later, a community langar was also held where meals were served to all the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurjeet Singh (Shonky) while lauding the role of the students who have excelled, also appreciated the right guidance and contribution of their parents and teachers in making them brilliant in studies.
