5-day remand for custodial investigation of Patwari granted

Jammu, July 19: Additional Sessions Judge Anti-corruption, Jammu, DC Sagotra today granted five days custodial remand of Patwari Altaf Ahmed Bhat, then posted as Patwari Halqa Kandi Tehsil Kotranka who was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting Rs 1500 from the complainant for issuing revenue documents whereas the VOJ produced accused in the Court with the application seeking eight days custodial remand but granted only five days with the direction that after completion of the remand period produced the accused in the Court.
