JJSF seeks fare concession to students | | | Early Times Teport JAMMU, July 19 : Jammu Joint Students Federation (JJSF) has demanded strict directions from the govt. to the transporters to give fare concession to the students. Addressing a press conference at Jammu, Mr. Partap Singh Jamwal, state vice president JJSF, has criticised the government for not keep the students into consideration while allowing the transports to increase the fare. He has also criticised the concerned authorities for setting time limit for the students in which concession in fare would be given to them. He has requested the government to cancel such directions and direct the transporters to grant concession to the students in the price hike of transport fare. Keeping in the view, the students from the rural areas like Akhnoor, Samba, Bishnah, R.S.pura, Kotbalwal were not allowed the students to sit in the vehicle without receiving full fare. Meanwhile, he threatened the government of taking students to streets if their demands are not fullfiled at the earliest. Other present included Nitin Chib, Ankur gupta, Ankit gupta, Tushar raina, Nitin Gupta, Sandeep Manhas, Sunny Koul. |
