| CM grants 3 months' free ration to fire-hit | | |

Srinagar, July 19 - Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah today announced 3-months' free ration for the fire sufferers and assured that other relief measures would also be taken after the quantum of damage in the fire incident is fully assessed. About 44 structures, including 35 shops and 9 houses have been gutted in the fire incident at Chowkibal that has dislocated 13 families. The Chief Minister also announced fire station for Redy Chowkibal in Kupwara district to effectively tackle fire incidents in the area. |
