JKKT concerned over shortage of essential commodities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, July 19: Expressing deep concern over shortage of essential commodities in Kashmir, General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Kisan Tehreek (JKKT), G N Malik today asked the administration to gear up to address the grievances of people immediately. In a press statement issued here today, Malik said the recurrent reports of shortage of ration, cooking gas and kerosene oil besides other food items require an immediate attention from the government. "Due to the restrictions and shutdowns, the people in various areas of the Valley are suffering for want of essential commodities. Government should gear up the concerned departments and make it sure that the same is made available to them at the earliest," he said. |
