| Congress ex councilors boycott KHDC meeting | | Allege corruption in Municipality | | early times report
Leh, July 20: Alleging corruption in Municipality of Leh, all the eight ex councilors of the Congress boycotted the meeting of Kargil Hill Development Council held here under the chairman ship of Consumer Affair and Transport minister Qamar Ali Akhoon.
Later ex councilors headed by Haji Karbalai staged protest demonstration before Congress Headquarters. Attacking on the National Conference led collation government they said that municipality tenders are allotted to those who are kith and kin of ministers.
They urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullaha to initiate inquiry into the matter.
