'Lower bus fares if petrol prices fall' | | | early times report Jammu, July 20: An emergency meeting held at Shri Ram Sena office Jammu, Rajiv Mahajan, President of Shri Ram Sena, Jammu Kashmir, has thanked the administration of State Government of Jammu and Kashmir to make the counseling for the admission of M.B.B.S in respect of the candidates belonging to Jammu Region, at Jammu instead of at Srinagar as was previously proposed. Rajiv Mahajan, President of Shri Ram Sena said that the members of Shri Ram Sena are always for support to the Transporters of Jammu an0d Kashmir. He said owing to hike in the petroleum products the State Government has announced increase of fare but when the prices of the petroleum products decrease, the Govt. should decrease the hike charged in the fare of passengers The government did not decrease the fares when petroleum price was decreased. This was unjust. He said that the school, college and university going children should be given at least 25% concessions in the fare charges of buses, mini buses and matadors even in the three wheelers when they travel, after producing their photo identity cards... Among those who were present in the meeting were Bal Krishan Arora (Sectary), Vinay Gupta (Vice President), Deepak Sharma (Jr. Sectary), Parul Gupta (Youth Vice President), Anil Chopra (Industries President), Pawan Choudhary (Vice-President), Raghvir Krishan Gupta (Organizer), Vijay Gupta (Treasurer), Shiv Kumar Sharma and others.
