| Black sheep in Rajouri NC: Aslam | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, July 22 : Hinting towards presence of black sheep in National Conference, former Member Legislative Assembly and senior NC leader Mohammad Aslam Khan has said some own leaders and workers were engaged in making conspiracy against the party which was fatal for the organisation.
He said that a warning note has been served to these leaders and workers and action will be initiated if they will not let anti-party activities.
In a meeting held here which was called by former MLA Mohammad Aslam Khan under the chairmanship of district president Bashir Wani, serious note has been taken against the activities of some NC leaders and workers who are engaged in anti-party activities. "We are serious about the double standard game being played by our some leaders and workers in Rajouri district and the meeting was called to discuss the issue", Mohammad Aslam Khan told here, adding that though they are not taking any action against these workers and are only warning them to shun their activities.
"We are going to take stern action against these workers if they continue to play this double standard game,'' Khan said adding that they have identified some NC workers in Rajouri who are also playing conspiracy against the party with some leaders other than National Conference.
"Some party workers have lost discipline and we are going to constitute disciplinary committee to see these cases", he said.
Meanwhile, the meeting also discussed the strategies to be adopted in Panchayat and Urban bodies election.
"We discuss these elections and think on the plans to be constituted for getting more and more seats", District President of National Conference Bashir Wani said, adding, the meeting also condoled the demise of mother of senior NC leader, MP and former minister Mohd Shafi Uri and prayed peace for her departed soul.
The meeting was attended by senior NC leader Liaqet Choudhary, Advocate Parvez Ahmed District Secretary party, Qazi Mushtaq Ahmed and Kedar Nath Senior Vice Presidents besides other workers. |
