| PHE employees stir in Poonch | | |

RAJOURI, July 24: Employees of Public Health Engineering Department Poonch today held protest demonstration at Pumping Station Poonch in support of their various demands. The protest rally was led by Fayaz Akbar, District President of the PHE employees association.
The employees said that government is not doing justice with them. They said that when the daily wagers of other departments are being regularized, PHE department is not regularizing its employees. Besides other things, the employees demanded enhancement of wages of the daily wagers so that they can make both ends meet in times of sky rocketing prices. "Prices are touching the sky and government is still paying meager remunerations to its PHE employees, it is to be u njust to them," Akbar said.
