| 90 PRESIDING OFFICERS TRANSFERRED | | |

JAMMU, July 24 : A full court meeting held of July 21 at Srinagar with the Chief justice, Dr Aftab H Saikia in chair has ordered transfer of 90 presiding officers of the sub-ordinate judiciary. An order to this effect was accordingly issued by the Registrar GeneraL.
Twenty -seven Principal District & Sessions Judges and Additional Sessions Judges have been transferred and adjusted in their new place of posting whereas 33 CJMs and Sub-Judges also stand transferred. The Registrar general transferred 30 Munsiffs from their present place of posting.
Bansi Lal Bhat presetly Principal Sessions Judge Jammu is transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Srinagar whereas AK Shan presently Member J&K Special Tribuanl Jammu has been repatriated from deputation and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu.
Other District & Sessions Judges including Additional Sessions Judges who are transferred are Gous-ul-Nissa Jeelani Principal District & Sessions Judge Srinagar transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Baramulla, Muhammad Nazir Fida Principal District & Sessions Judge Baramulla has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Anantnag. In this order it has been mentioned that he shall also hold the charge of Additional District & Sessions Judge Court Anantnag. Kaneez Fatima Perisiding Officer MACT Srinagar is repatriated and posted as Registrar Judicial High Court Wing Srinagar. Sheikh Altaf Hussain Principal District & Sessions Judge Anantnag transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Kupwara, Rashid Ali Dar Principal District & Sessions Judge Kupwara has been transferred and posted as Special Judge Anticorruption Srinagar against the available post and he shall also hold the charge of Court of Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Srinagar. Kartar Singh Principal District & Sessions Judge Kathua has been transferred and posted as Registrar Judicial High Court Jammu Wing. Jang Bhadur Singh Jamwal Persiding officer MACT Jammu is repatriated and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Kathua. Kikar Singh Parihar IV Additional District & Sessions Judge Srinagar is transferred and posted as 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge Jammu. Sanjay Parihar Additional District & Sessions Judge Rajouri transferred and posted on deputation as Presiding Officer MACT Jammu. RS Jain 3rd Additional District & Sessions Judge/Presiding Officer TADA/POTA Court has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Kargil against available vacant post; Sanjay Kumar Gupta 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge Jammu is transferred and posted as IV Additional District & Sessions Judge Srinagar; Muhammad Yousaf Wani 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge Baramulla has been transferred and posted as Additional District & Sessions Judge Baramulla, he shall also hold the charge of 1st Additional District & Sessions Judge Baramulla. Puneet Gupta presently Registrar Judicial High Court Jammu Wing has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge Bhaderwah against Vacant post.
