| Jammu kid participates in UCMAS Abacus Genius Kid" | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 27: Vasu Gupta, a class IVth students of KC Gurukul School, Jammu going through UCMAS ABACUS programme at exchange road, Jammu, participated in 10th National Level- All India Ucmas Abacas and Mental Arithmetic Competition 2010 at Chennai.
Every year, the competition is held for students, who are perusing Ucmas Abacus programme throughout India.
Founder and President UCMAS Global Education Group, Prof. Dr.Dino Wong was guest of honour and Sir Anuar Bin Kasman Consul General Consulate General Of Malaysia for Southern India was chief guest.
Gupta got an special attention of Global Head of UCMAS abacus Dr Dino Wong &
he appreciated this genius kid. Vasu was able to do 100 + Maths/arithmetic Calculations within 5 minutes time.
Vasu won a runner up trophy & participation certificate for National Competition,
Parents of Vasu Rajesh Gupta & Shefali Gupta also accompanied their ward.
This little Genius from Jammu said he is thankful to his Instructor & Center Head-Madam Laxmi Deep Gupta for getting him prepared for the national competition.
Vasu said - this competition was a great experience & that he will now prepare for UC Mas International Abacus competition, Kuala Lumpur, MALASIA.
The competition was also presided over by Master franchisee for J&K of UCMAS India Ltd Rupesh Masson.
