| Join Lal Chowk Conclave on July 28: Bhim | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 27:Prof Bhim Singh, Chairman, JKNPP appealed all sections of political and civil society to join Lal Chowk Conclave on July 28.Addressing media persons in Raj Bagh, Srinagar, Prof. Bhim Singh urged Central leadership to read the bold writing on the wall and replace the present authoritarian, corrupt and ineffective government in J&K in the interest of the suffering people of the state, particularly in the Valley. Prof. Bhim Singh said that there shall be no peace in the Valley as long as Omar government is not dissolved and Governor rule imposed for a brief period. Prof Bhim Singh said that a political process needs to be initiated in the state so that 60 year old corrupt and unwanted leadership of Congress and NC are shown the way out. It is the first time in the 60 years history of J&K that a democratic-secular opposition party shall be holding a conclave at Lal Chowk. It is pertinent mentioning here that Lal Chowk has been a platform of only angry leadership of Kashmir. The prominent Panthers Party leaders who joined Prof Bhim Singh included Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC and President, Young Panthers, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Kashmir province President, Manjoor Naik, Provincial General Secretary, Maqbool Malik, State Secretary, Mehboob Illahi, Public Relations Office and Secretary, Shanker Singh, Secretary, Kisan Committee and several district presidents.
