Participate in panchayat election: JKPF | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 27: Jammu and Kashmir People Front (JKPF), Chief Patron, Satish Poonchi addressing a press conference on Tuesday. Satish Poonchi said that the decision had taken keeping in view the forthcoming panchayat and local bodies' elections and the party would participate in the elections with full enthusiasms. Divulging the further strategy of his party, he said that newly selected five members would go in every nook and corner of the three regions and elaborate the policies and programmes of the party to motivate the people in general and youth in particular. He said that the party would soon launch the membership drive to broaden its base and enroll as many people as could. He further said that party would have organizational elections to ensure inner-party democracy after completing the membership drive. He invited the people at large and youth in particular to join his party for the sake of society and weaker section. Mentioning the aim and objectives of the party, he said, "According to the party constitution, the re-elections of the party office bearers are must after every three years in normal course and now the term has been completed so the dissolution of the existing body is mandatory." He further said that the party was framed on September 15, 2007 with a sole aim to provide the help to the suffering people and party had achieved largest target in shortest period. He told that the party firmly believes to sort out the problems of common but desist itself from bandh and strike politics. Others prominent who attended the press conference included Adarash Bali, Pankaj Sawhney and Rakesh Kumar Chadhha.
