Re-construct washed away bridge on Manu Nallah: Niaz

JAMMU, July 27: Senior Congress leader Mohammad Sharief Niaz in a statement has demanded immediate re-construction of bridge over Manu Nallah which was washed away due to devastating rains and flood on 26th July in which Mohd Ashraf son of Abdul Gani resident of Pullai Bhalessa lost his life.
He said that due to damage of the bridge people residing in Panchayat Halqa Manu, Kutta, Haddal, besides, the nomads at present in the upper reaches boardering to tehsil Kissa of Himachal Pradesh have been cut off from the rest of the area and there are apprehensions of shortage of food grains and essential commodity to these people being the life line of these areas.
Niaz also conveyed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family of the departed soul who was washed away in this flood and prayed the almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul. He has also demanded release of ex-gratia relief in favour of the family member of the youth who lost his life in the flood.
