‘Don’ along with three other thieves arrested | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 27: Police arrested four thieves including a notorious criminal and recovered stolen property worth lakhs from their possession. On specific information Rehari police laid a naka in the area and intercepted infamous thief Ankush Kumar alias Don resident of Peer Mitha. Police became suspicious of him and put him to sustained questioning where he broke down and confessed his involvement in several thefts. On his disclosure, police arrested his aide Tarun Kumar of Peer Mitha and recovered stolen property which included eight mobile hand sets, one gold chain and a laptop from his possession. Don used to dump the stolen items in the house of his associate Tarun, informed SP North Randeep Singh and SDPO City Shamsher Singh Sambyal while interacting with media persons. Rehari police also arrested two vehicle lifters from area during naka checking. They have been identified as Yashpal resident of Udhampur and Ratan Lal resident of RS Pura. Two without registration number motorcycles were recovered from their possession. The recoveries were made by a police team led by IC PP Naresh Singh and SHO Pacca Danga Vishal Sharma.
