| Samba incident, an eye opener for govt : PAPA | | |

JAMMU, July 28: Public Action for People Accountability (PAPA) has hailed the recent struggle of the people of Samba against the corrupt and anti-people police officers, here today.
In a press statement, PAPA stated that the attached controversial police officer was allegedly being well known for his shady image throughout his career.
Many times people of Samba complained against his conduct but nothing was done in this regard. Also voices against crimes like bovine smuggling, land grabbing, illegal wine manufacturing and illegal drug business were raised many a times from the responsible quarters.
PAPA further stated that the state government should not take Samba incident as otherwise because such incidents should be an eye opener and would certainly help the government for the required corrections in other parts of the state.
