Cheat arrested, 360 cement bags seized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 28: A swindler had been arrested from Upper Gadigarh with three hundred and sixty cement bags by Satwari police today. Sources said that driver Sharamjeet Singh son of Mahan Singh resident of Rani Bagh, Upper Gadigarh was apprehended when he was after un- loading the truck at his residence got the cement bags unsealed. Police also seized some empty bags of cement from the spot. Sharamjeet was given the job of taking the consignment of three hundred and sixty bags of cements from Jammu railway station Jammu to Nowgam, Kashmir. The cement which belonged to JP Associate Group, Nowgam had to be unloaded in Nowagam for Trabu Traders. When police team raided his residence at Rani Bagh he was misappropriating the cement by getting the sealed bags unsealed thus reduced the original quantity of the bags. Police has also sealed the truck bearing registration number JK02L/3885 from the spot.A case under section 420,407 RPC has been registered against the accused. The police team which conducted the raid was comprised of SHO Satwari Bishnesh Kumar and SDPO Gandhi Nagar Mohan Lal Kaith.
