Dalai Lama given warm send off

Leh, July 28: Dalai Lama today flew back to Dharamsala after delivering sermons to the devotees at different places of Nubra during the past 9-day tour .
Dalai Lama was seen off at the Thoise Airport by the Executive Councilor Art and Culture, Mr. Tsering Wangchuk, Deputy Commissioner, Leh Mr. Tsering Angchok, MLA Nubra Mr. Tsetan Namgial, Thiksay Rinpochey, President LBA, Mr. Lobzang Rinchen, President LGA Rev. Tokdan Rinpochey, SDM Nubra, Pankaj Sharma and the prominent people of Ladakh.
Enroute to Thoise from Deskit, the people of Deskit, Hunder and Skampuk also gave a warm send off to His Holiness holding Tashis Khatanks, flowers and incense in their hand.
The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Mr. Tsering Angchuk said that Dalai Lama was quite pleased and satisfied on his 9-day successful tour in Nubra valley. He has committed to visit Leh and Lalok-Durbuk next year, he added.
The State Govt has provided the State Aircraft to airlift the Dalai Lama from Nubra to Dharamsala.
