| HC stays Govt order stopping HRA & CCA of migrant employees | | |

Jammu, JULY 29: Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Jammu Wing in a petition filed by PDD Employees Welfare Association stayed the Govt order NO 754-GAD of 2010 dated June 28, 2010 by virtue of which stopped the HRA and CCA of migrant employees.
In the petition, it has been submitted that they have migrated to Jammu in the year 1990 due to the disturbance prevailing in the Kashmir valley. It is further submitted that the petitioners have drawn their salaries along with HRA and CCA at par with other Govt Employees right from 1992 in terms of judgment of the State High Court and the Supreme Court of India. Now the respondents without any right and reason have issued order No 745-GAD of 2010 dated June 28, 2010 by virtue of which they have stopped the HRA and CCA which was challenged by the petitioners.
Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir after hearing Adv MK Raina appearing for the petitioners issued notice to the respondents’ returnable within four weeks and in the meanwhile subject to objections from other sides GAD order NO 754- of 2010 dated June 28, 2010 is stayed. JNF
