Jammu, July 29: Tallenter Singh, President Block Congress Committee accompanied by Suraj Badyal, Balbir Singh, Kuldeep Raj, Rajan Kumar, and Nek Alamand Ajay Gupta took extensive tour of bloc Bhalwal of Raipur Domana constituency and received updates on various problems facing the people.
Tailenter Singh expressed concern over the problems brought to his notice by the people living in the villages of this constituency. He said that the main road linking Patti Bohari with Sangtra Morh and the road from Akalpur to Bhadror via Sarora have remained closed for last four months on the pretext that construction work was in progress. Actually the work has been put on halt for unknown reasons with the result that people are suffering for want of transport facility in this sector. He said that the people were facing hardships owing to long shut downs of electric power and low voltage.
He urged the concerned authorities to explore without further loss of time, the possibility of opening these roads for traffic in the larger interests of the general public. He also demanded improvement in the supply of electric power in Bhalwal bloc.
