| Female bootlegger held | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 29: Police arrested one female bootlegger while lahan and country made liquor was recovered from her residence at village Randwan under the jurisdiction of police station Ramgarh in district Samba.
According to sources acting on a tip off police conducted a raid at Randwan today. During the raid 30 litres of Lahan besides 5 litres of illicit liquor was recovered from the house of one woman identified as Dharmo Devi wife of Kewal Kumar of Randwan. Lohan and Bhatti destroyed under law on spot and case under section 48 Excise Act stands registered at Police Station Ramgarh.
Meanwhile, Reasi Police arrested one bootlegger and recovered 45 Poly Pouches from his possession while on checking at Zandi Morh –Pouni. The arrested person has been identified as Ashok Singh son of Partab Singh of Ransoo.
A case to this effect stands registered at PS Reasi.
