Tral incident exposes failure of govt : Bajwa | | |
Early Times Report Jammu, July 30: Condemning sacrilege act in Tral area of Kashmir Valley, former Rajya Sabha member and vice president of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Trilok Singh Bajwa has blamed National Conference-led coalition regime for such incident. In a statement issued here, today, Bajwa said that law and order situation has been deteriorating in the State and government has been totally failed to control it. He said that on the one hand, killing of people has been going unabated while on the other such incident has been occurred which is highly condemnable. Bajwa said that since formation of Omar-led government situation has been deteriorating because the Chief Minister was not aware of the ground realities of the State. Instead of coming to the aspirations of the people, the government has been adopting oppressive measures which led to further deterioration of the situation. Condemning the incident at Tral, Bajwa said that need of the hour was to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood at this juncture when State has been passing through a crucial time. “Government is not in a position to stop incident so it is responsibility of all sections of the society to come forward and to save the situation from further worsening”, he said.
