Jammu, July 30: The management committee along with president and sec. general of residents welfare- association Gandhi Nagar, looking after the development affairs of Swarang Ashram Shastri Nagar, approached Municipal commissioner for their contribution in the development of the said Ashram. As per the press release the municipal commissioner along with the full team of concerned officers visited the works are construction of garage for horse van-407 (6.78 lacs) donated by Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation & Revenue, out of his constituency funds. Development of vacant land alongside Shishu Samadhian, for parking of vehicle of people coming to Shamshan ghat. Construction of boundary wall along side of the main road (National Highway) and leaving of Shishu Samadhian with good earth. Construction of small hut for persons arranging fire wood etc. reconstruction of dilapidated boundary wall of the Swarag Ashram. Construction of six No. toilets and bath rooms in the Swarag Ashram for gents. Plantation of medicinal and flower based plants along side the boundary wall within the Shishu Samadhian.
