J&K Sikh amalgamate discuss situation arising out of sacrilege act

Jammu, July 30: The activists of J&K Sikh societies amalgamate in a meeting discussed the latest situation arising out of sacrilege act of Kashmir of forcibly cutting hair of Sikh youth. Chief patron of the amalgamate Gurdeep Singh sasau who chaired the meeting strongly condemned act of religious intimidation by certain mischievous elements under deep rooted conspiracy to disturb the communal harmony in the state and wedge between different communities in the state. He further described this act as barbaric and inhuman and in handiwork of those elements who are bent upon disturbing the peaceful atmosphere of the state. He urged upon the people to see the nefarious designs of anti-social and communal elements identify and isolate them and added there seems to be a deep rooted conspiracy to destabilize Omar Abdullah govt. through a resolution, the meeting appealed to the chief minister of the state to direct the police immediately identify the culprits behind this mischievous act the meeting further resolved to thwart the nefarious designs of anti-social elements and appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood at this great hour of provocation. The prominent among those who attended meeting includes retd.Capt. P.P Singh S. Hardev Singh, Prof. Jagjeet Singh, Dr. Moninder Singh, Er. Jaspal Singh, Er/ Gagandeep Singh, Prof Surjeet Kour, Jatinder Singh, Amrik Singh, Samarjeet Singh, Kuldeet Singh, Col Harmeet Singh and Baldev Sing.
