| Acid test passed, CM wins 3 constituencies in two months | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 1 : Not entire Valley but three constituencies, including Ganderbal of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Budgam of Aga Syed Ruhullah and Handwara of Ch. Mohmmad Ramzan remained calm despite Valley's boil. The indications are crystal clear that CM has succeeded in conveying the point of conflict to the people of all three constituencies through its dedicated team of legislators. But the matter of concern is that those who believed to be closer and heavy weight NC workers had delivered much lesser than exceptions.
Omar Abdullah, whom people know as young and dynamic person besides Aga Ruhulla, who entered for the first time in legislation and the senior and reputed Ch Ramzan has managed to prove their worth among the voters in their respective constituencies, question making a buzz is that where are heavy weight NC stalwarts including Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather next to whose is Handwara, Ali Mohammad Sagar of Khanyar, Mubarak Gul of Idgah and above all Sheikh Mustafa Kamal's of Hazratbal, being son of Sheikh Abdullah? Aren't they elected by the people of their respective constituencies, if yes why people did not follow them in making return of peace, if no then why didn't they come forward and open the cards close to their chests.
It may be recalled that in the early June turmoil broke out with loss of life by a teenager and the clashes broke out over the entire valley causing deaths to more than 20 people till date. The big question is who is at fault, government of the day, wherein Congress is acting as mute spectator or NC who has put every thing at its stake. Has NC and Congress done home work to bring back normalcy or their coalition is being hijacked by certain elements, probably not by separatists and anti-Indians.
Speculation is making a buzz that Congress and NC has evolved differences but of no use as people are least interested in politics. It's time to forget to befool India on one or the other pretext but to convey them real picture to obtain sixty years old disease cured. |
