Bhim concerned over Kashmir situation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU: Expressing concern over the present law and order problem in Kashmir, Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, JKNPP and Member NIC urged Prime Minister to take over J&K affairs to Prime Minister Office (PMO) Talking to media persons here today, Prof Singh said, 'J&K is not a cup of tea of anybody. It's Union Home Minister, P C Chidambaram, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Dr Farooq Abdullah are responsible for the present mess in the state". He also condemned the complete silence of two former Chief Ministers and Union Ministers Dr Farooq Abdullah and Ghulam Nabi Azad over present crises in Kashmir. "Five years hard work of Dr Manmohan Singh to seek a peaceful and honorable resolution of J&K situation has been diluted by the arrogance of the Union Home Minister and authoritarianism of the inexperienced Chief Minister", alleged Bhim. Prof. Bhim Singh said "The people are expressing their anger with stone against the undemocratic behaviour of NC-Congress government and not against India". Saying the protest of people in Kashmir is not against the India, it's against the state Govt, he appealed Centre to listen to the stone pelters and people of Kashmir before the protest turns against India. "If Governor's rule is not imposed at the earliest this anger may be directed against national interest by the power hungry and corrupt politicians", he added. He also supported the demand of Army Chief of starting political process in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, Prof. Bhim Singh Chief Patron of Panthers Trade Union has reconstituted the Panthers State Union and appointed Daljit Singh as Chairman whereas Shakti Gupta shall be the State President, Mulk Raj Bumagi shall be the General Secretary. Shakti Gupta shall been incharge of the organizational matters.
