| SKUAST (J) directed to allow petitioner join PG course | | |

Jammu, Aug 2: In a petition filed by one Yasser Waheed Qureshi in which Sr. Adv Sunil Sethi with Adv Veenu Gupta appeared for the petitioner submitted in the terms of notification issued by the BOPEE on July 24, 2010, the petitioner and other candidates came to be selected for undergoing post-graduate professional agriculture course in SKUAST Kashmir and SKUAST Jammu respectively. The petitioner allotted SKUAST, Jammu for undergoing the PG course in veterinary science discipline. The petitioner reported before Registrar SKUAST, Jammu but he without any reasons and justification did not allow the petitioner to join.Justice Mansoor Ahmed Mir today after hearing counsels issued notice to State through Principal Secretary to GOVT ARI Training, BOPEE through its Chairman and Sher-i- Kashmir University through its Registrar returnable within four weeks and ordered that in the meantime subject to objections from other sides directed respondents to allow the petitioner to deposit the fee and also permit him to join the PG Course. --- (JNF) |
